Anti-ligature shop (ALS) have been working with YewdaleKestrel® since 2013. YewdaleKestrel® has a “fail-safe” range of exclusive anti-ligature products designed to maximise the safety of people by removing the potential of harm where secure care is required. The YewdaleKestrel® magnetic anti-ligature system provides a highly effective method of saving the lives of service users. It also gives peace of mind to their carers by reducing the chance of self-harm. ALS are delighted to have been promoting YewdaleKestrel® since 2013 supplying our customers with products to create a safer environment.

The increasing need for YewdaleKestrel® cubicle rail increased over the years. ALS now have a certified and approved installer for ALS customers. ALS will visit the environment location and measure, and fit and test the rails, to ensure that the ‘fail-safe’ guarantee is applicable. It is only applicable in an anti-ligature environment where the system cannot be used in conjunction with anything else to create a ligature point, and this is the responsibility of the installer and end user to ensure that the YewdaleKestrel® anti ligature system cannot be used unsafely afterwards.
